“Cooperativa Facchini Massa Lombarda“, with headquarters in Massa Lombarda, in the province of Ravenna, deals with porterage and the loading and unloading of goods. It has chosen to adopt new MONTINI electric forklifts, in the COMPACT 7-ton load capacity version, for its operations handling paper reels on the premises of “Smurfit Kappa”, an important, renowned company which is a leader in the paper and cardboard sector.

“Cooperativa Facchini Massa Lombarda” has invested resources in modernizing its vehicle pool to improve logistics operations, abandoning diesel-powered forklifts in favour of new electric models offering the right solution in terms of performance and operational efficiency.

Inside “Smurfit Kappa”, the MONTINI MR 7 COMPACT electric forklifts are used to handle reels of different sizes: from unloading trucks to warehouse storage, successfully operating even in confined spaces.

MONTINI has been able to provide the perfect forklifts, adapting them to different operating situations, to ensure maximum comfort of use and optimum ergonomics:

  • the forklift has a full glass cab designed to ensure all-round visibility, thanks to the large front and rear windscreens, and the large upper panoramic window which is certified against risks associated with falling objects or materials. As an optional, the forklift can be fitted with an additional metal overhead guard for greater protection against the accidental dropping of loads;
  • the lifting group, designed and produced by MONTINI, allows large load capacities in all operating conditions;
  • the Super Steering system, the rear steering axle which can turn up to 101 degrees designed and built by MONTINI, is standard on these machines which means they can work and turn even in the tightest spots, guaranteeing maximum manoeuvrability;
  • the forklift batteries are specifically designed to meet the needs posed by demanding and heavy handling operations.

The ordinary and extraordinary maintenance activities of these trucks are performed by GM, a historic partner of MONTINI for the area service based in Cotignola, in the province of Ravenna.
